Maggie L. was our server at the Ypsilanti location. Everything was perfect for the celebration of the birthdays for our friend and her son. The restaurant is very clean, the employees were all extremely friendly, and the food was spectacular ! Also, Maggie thoroughly explained everything to us and she provided consistent assistance over our 2 hour dinner. Maggie gets an A+++ We highly recommend this restaurant!

Very nice although it is quite expensive. You have to pay 5 dollars more if you plan on getting both the bbq and hot pot so just choose one instead (I don't feel it's worth it unless it's your first time). I liked how they had separate hot pot dishes for each person. They have a variety of soup bases to choose from so that was very nice. The sichuan spicy soup base is supposed to be the mala flavor but the flavor wasn't as strong as the authentic ones. It would be great if they provide huajiao oil at the sauce table.

Jasmine did a wonderful job explaining things for my first time here. It's quite the experience, with so many choices and things to think about as you cook your own food. Jasmine was helpful and warm, and the runners were all efficient bringing what we ordered from the tablet. Food was delish and my daughter and her friend enjoyed the buffet as well as their ramen hotpots. It was really nice we got to try a broth first before committing to the whole big bowl. Thanks for a smooth experience, Jasmine! The place was very clean, hostess provided a warm welcome, and we came around 2:00 so the place wasn't packed, which was nice.

Daniel was fantastic!! Wonderful experience for date night and our first time. Service was great! The food was even better, everything came out quick. It also looked very clean too, around the restaurant, salad bar & rest rooms. Can’t wait to come back!

Pop in Ypsilanti offers a satisfying hotpot experience at a reasonable price—$30 gets you a hearty, flavorful meal that’s perfect for sharing. There’s ample free parking, which is a big plus. The staff are friendly and attentive, making the overall experience welcoming and pleasant. However, the appetizer selection is a bit limited, so don’t go in expecting a wide variety of starters. Still, if you’re there for hotpot, it’s a solid choice.
